Vermont Chocolate Festival

The first annual Vermont Chocolate Festival brings together chocolatiers, bean-to-bar makers, and chocolate lovers for a day of tastings, live demonstrations, educational presentations, and hands-on experiences. The festival also features interactive chocolate games, s'more making in the Maloney Plaza, and raffles with premium chocolate prizes. Fun for families and enthusiasts alike.

Opening Night Screening of Peace by Chocolate

Join us for a special screening of Peace by Chocolate (2021) as part of the first annual Vermont Chocolate Festival. The evening begins with a small chocolate tasting at 6:30pm, followed by the film at 7:00pm in the Anderson Studio.

Based on a true story, Peace by Chocolate follows the Hadhad family, Syrian refugees who resettle in the small town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. When young Tareq's dreams of becoming a doctor clash with his father's determination to rebuild the family chocolate business, they discover an unexpected new path forward. Warm, funny, and heartfelt, the film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and has been celebrated for its honest portrayal of resilience and starting over.
